FYI- Our Spring/Summer Trunk Show season is winding down. We have very few catalogs left and scattered inventory sizes. If you request a catalog, I cannot promise you will get one. But I can promise we will put your name on our mailing list. We will then send you the Fall catalog later in the summer.
Also, I have been getting oodles of emails with orders in them. I am not trying to sound snotty, but we do not sell online. We sell at art fairs and trunk shows only. We do not accept online orders for art fair merchandise. The pieces are on a limited basis and are usually sold out by the end of the show.
Please keep this in mind when requesting a catalog/emailing an order. Do know you have not been over looked and will recieve a Fall catalog.
Thanks so much for being so wonderful. I do love all the fanatstic emails. Yes, even the grouchy ones. They keep me grounded.
And about 8 more to go. I meant to take pics of the fun of it all, but as you can see, that idea didn't last long.
We had our first art fair this weekend. It was a fantastic start to the season. First, the lovely Dawn brought me a fountain Dt Coke. One should know, it is a hard find at an art fair. Thanks. And the sweet Karen, or should I say goofball, had me take a pic with her daughters. Oooh, that may be a mistake...I am not the most photogenic gal in town. Michelle, Wendi and Lori all came to visit. They're trunk keepers for MJC in Indi and Chicago area. Many of you may have met them. Amazing gals with great hearts and sense of humors.
It was a wonderful show and now we are gearing up to head to Cinncinatti. I love that place. It is so beautiful. Last time I was there the Lakers beat Miami. Whoo Hoo.
Other than that we are slammin' busy getting ready for Fall Trunk Shows. I'll have to take some pics of the new studio. It is in an old apt. building from the early 20's. I walk in and feel as if I am in NYC. Karie, the intern, seems to be spending the most time there. She'll be heading to Cinci with us. Watch out, aside from being smart she's beautiful. Lock up your sons, plus she's taken! I can not be responsible for broken hearts.
I just realized why Joe wants to be tucked in like a hot dog everynight, it makes more time. That little trouble maker. Shoot and I just realized we have a 5:50am Dr's appt in the morning. Just my luck, my son gets botox before me. Now it's time to tuck myself in. Good night to all and to all a goodnight.
Oh, look close, yes, that gas recipt does say 70 bucks. And I don't need any smart comments like if I had a better camera maybe you could see it.
So I am starting to wonder, does this law only apply to me? And how can I can I break it?
First, we have the fabric issue last month. Second, poor Mark has been waiting for a week for a Pantone No. and the darn chart has yet to show up. It was schedule next day. I love UPS, why must they loose the one thing I really need RIGHT NOW? Thirdly, I am still not moved into my studio. It's like something always comes up and those semi trucks are getting ticked driving down these winding streets. What's a girl to do?
Though I am a full month behind, I'm slammin' to catch up. Karie, our new intern, started today. She definitely gets to see the guts of a start up clothing company. I promise glory to come.
Back to the pattern making. Can I make patterns? Well, no, but I sure can try. I am fortunate to be surrounded my talented gals who can fine tune them for me.
And lastly, that sweet boy below cannot stop asking me, "Is it Friday yet?" Friday is always slumber party in my room night. Whoo hoo, such a fun family I have. They are truly wonderful to put up with my work addiction.
