A word about the Plymouth Art Fair

Plymouth Art in the Park starts this Friday, July 11 and goes through Sunday, July 13th.  It is a huge show, so those of you coming to see the Matilda Jane booth would definitely benefit from knowing where we'll be located....

Each year, our booth is located on Penniman Avenue between South Harvey St and Main St.  It is somewhat near the post office.   Our booth numbers are 91 and 92.  In addition to seeing some great MJC items, you'll be able to meet Denise, Lynette, Kayla, Chris, and maybe even me  (but I'm actually hoping Denise will not make me go!)

We're bringing tons of stuff with us....more than we've ever brought before.  We've got back-stock to put out Saturday morning and Sunday morning just to help those of you who may not be able to make it first thing Friday morning.  But things do sell extremely fast and there's no saying what will be left at the end of each day.

Gosh, only three comments.  Denise said if I include a picture I may get more comments.  So, here is a photo of what you can expect to see at Plymouth...

Plymouth

Oh, poor David has no clue..... yes, he is really trying. I warned you earlier we have more than ever, so this photo looks very sparse ( is that a word), you know like " the booth is very sparse)? Okay, I am taking a nap before the roadtrip. I need to be well rested so I can handle Chris lecturing me on how to set up the walls.

Why, oh why can't I live closer? I am frothing at the mouth. Not only at the clothes, but at a chance to meet you crazy girls.

Denise it is truly wonderful to see your brilliant ideas in such beautiful, tangible goods. Your clothing line is a breath of fresh air and I am so very proud of you and your success. It was great being at the art fair watching people go crazy over your stuff and i thought to myself, what a wonderful gal you are and I am so glad you've been my friend for over 30 years! Can you believe that? Anyway... you are an InSpIrAtIoN. And it is awesome that you have such great staff and a SUPER HERO hubby who stands behind you all the way!

It looks like you had a great time, wish i was near enough to come ! I got a few peeks of some of the girls goodies via posts, I am in love with the brown teacup hat ! My DD is a teacup fanatic !!!

Just remember - no matter what happens ... no matter how crazy it gets ... That success is a Wonderful AMAZING thing. Try to enjoy it! If anyone gets mean/sad/disappointed etc. remember you don't owe them anythjing - you're just selling really cute kids clothes- not a vaccine for cancer!

Chock full of gorgeousness!!! Someone else posted those words and were they right! I think the booth looks AMAZING! I so wish that I could be there. Have a blast!

Wow, the pic did it for me. It doesn't look sparse, just chock full of gorgeousness. It's even prettier than Indiana Jones :)

I'm so sad I won't be there. My mom will be though, hopefully picking out a few MJ goodies for me. I think she's bringing chocolate chip cookies as a tent warming gift :)

I'm so sad I'm going to miss this :( it's sooo far away *sigh*
Everyone have a great time shopping!

I hope to meet the woman behind it all!!! Hope all goes great this weekend & I'll see you there! :0)

This sounds like so much fun. Makes me sad I'm on the west coast and literally have no chance of ever making one of these. Take tons of pictures so we can all share in the excitement/craziness of it all!

I am drooling over here, really. I'd love to be that close all of that MJ!!

I am sure the fair will be successful!! May the force be with you Denise!

Man o man, why didn't I enlist a personal shopper to get me some goods! I was having a moment of "rational thinking"...fall is just around the corner, I have so much already...blah, blah, blah! I second what Kelly said, please, PLEASE, pretty please bring any left-overs to Nashville!
I can't wait to hear all of the fun stories from the weekend! Have fun & be safe!

Ohhhh my Nana used to take me to Art in the Park when I was a kid! I got a rockin' tie dye shirt there (It was the 80s, leave me alone).

Oh man, you guys are in for one crazy weekend. I have a personal shopper who will be there :) Ever since I got my art fair sale pieces, I have been dying for more! So sad you won't be coming to KC show. Feel free to bring any leftovers to Nashville for your lovely TK's:)
Have fun a drink lots at the end of the day!

I have a feeling this art fair is going to be like none you have seen in the past. I think you should fully expect to see a little craziness. Have you seen those old videos with the young girls and the Beatles? Denise - you know how at your wedding - everyone is there to see you and you don't get a chance to talk to everyone and the day passes in a blur in what feels like a minute? That is what I am guessing the art fair is going to be like for you.
Good luck, have fun, and revel in your success!

Yep! this pic did it! whoa! that is a TON of goodies :) SOOOO wish I were going to be there!! good luck!!

Girl - it all so gorgeous. No worries - it looks like a lot to me! LOL and poor David. BTW - I got my package last night. I cried. Literally. You will have a little something waiting for you when you get back on Monday.

Hugs you
jen - little miss Evie's mamma

I wish I could be there. I would be broke but it would be fun. Have a wonderful weekend!

Driving 6 hours each way tomorrow and I hope I can't sleep cauz I can just hit the road earlier! I am toatlly drooling! I am SO EXCITED I CAN HARDLY WAIT - can you tell!

Thanks for the pic David!! I am DROOLING all over my keyboard, LOL. I am making the 8 hour car ride to the art fair tomorrow & can't wait!!! I don't think I will be able to sleep tonight, I am so excited!!!! :o)

Thanks David for the info - I am going!! Leaving in the morning from Indy!! But - if you are not going to be there, I may stay home. My heart was set on meeting you!!!
OK - I really am going to meet Denise and get some great MJC stuff, but you being there would be the cherry on top!!
Can't wait!!

Man I wish I could go!

Ah David go, Denise loves a man that smells like tent...lol. Sorry but when I think of art fairs and MJC I think about tent smell because she always mentions it.

Have a blast!

good idea to let all the MJC fans know where to find you! You don't want all these great ladies wandering around hounding people on how to find you all! Do you guys still have that great banner??
Have a safe trip and a business filled weekend!
