Yup, we are back on tour (that makes us sound cool) in less than a month. And I am already freaking out. It seems the last month all I have been doing is cutting Stella's and Apple Dumplin'. So this weekend is full force art fair. Afterall, we will be in Louisville for St James Court October 3,4,5. I'll post directions closer to the date. The show is very confusing. You could spend all day searching and never find us!
And for those of you way up in Wisconsin or even Minnesota we are coming to see you soon, October 29 through November 1st to be exact. We will be at the University School for Girls Holiday Show. I love these shows, it is like a traveling boutique, the cutest shoppes from all over the country. Trust me, you'll love it.
Have you ever, ever seen anything so sweet. I am telling you, Diana is a genius. I would have never put this top with that skirt. Never. But now I will. Ya, sometimes I am wrong. Sometimes. I love how fluffy it looks. It is almost like a tiered dress.. Hmm. good idea. And man did Lauri capture that shot!
Ya, so you like the chicken McNuggets on the plate, eh? Try it. It helps rid the guilt of the weekly happy meal dinner. Though Joe and I kicked it up a notch and went to Subway at Walmart for dinner tonite, just the 2 of us. He is so darn cute. He was telling me that Kayla is not just a star, I should say SUPER in front of it.
You guys are getting ticked at me for not showing you the line, aren't you? You have no clue how bad I want to. I can not tell you how excited I am about this. I really feel like this may be my favorite yet. It compliments the Sak Lunch collection so well. All the pieces work together perfectly. I really can't explain (but I am so fricken excited about it) there is just something about the West Side Collection, something that brings me to another place. And Shannon nailed it with the pics. You know when you see, smell or feel something that takes you to a place you've been before. It sparks an emotion? That is how I feel about this collection. We just got the shipment of catalogs in today....and they are in the process of being mailed to Trunk Keepers. So, soon, very soon, you'll be able to see.
So, soon I will show you. I have to wait a bit more. It seems whenever I post too many pre-season pics things get pre-sold and then it is hard to get a handle on inventory and shipping. I am so proud of my girls rocking out the orders. It is so exciting to be bombarded with orders and they are doing such a great job down in shipping. Thye come in early, they stay late, they do whatver it takes to be sure you get your goods within 3 weeks.

Your clothes and photos look so vintagey and unique... i love them!!

I can't wait to see them! I hope they'll be available to us online shoppers, too. I am trying not to buy into the rumour mill, and hope indications otherwise are untrue. Believe me, if I had a home show to go to, I would! Though there is something exciting about seeing them in person for the first time at home!

Hey MJ!
Thank you for your kind words... I must admit, my personal shopper at the MI art fair risked her life to get those two pieces for me... (Thanks Leslie!) When Ruby put that outfit on at the photo shoot it was like someone flipped a switch, and the twirling began!!!
So, whether they were made to go together or not, the "un-predictable" outifit was a hit for this 2 year old!
Thanks for sharing 'Her Rubiness' & amazing Lauri with your friends!
I can't wait get my hands on Westside for The Pearl & The Ruby!

OK - I have one better for you then the chicken nuggets on a plate. I was suppost to order my neice Birthday Cupcakes for her 13th (Teenager) There is a place in Indy called the Flying Cupcake - LOVE IT!! Anyway - I totally forgot. My sister called me from the football game,(Her girls are 17,15,13 - so very busy) to see if I had done it,I told her I would just go in the morning and beg for 4 dz. She told me not to worry and took a Marsh cake from the back of some ladies truck at the football game!! (She didn't really know her, but the lady heard her talking.) Then forgot writing icing and wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY with her fingur in it!! So - she has topped the Horrible Mother list for the week!!!
