One is a Lonely Number

But I guess it really doesn't have to be. Right? I do like that song though. I am in rare form tonite...I have the worst headache and I really might puke. You guys are at the other end of the spectrum. What is up with all those super silly names?
I saw the cutest, chubby baby on Gina's blog a while back. The moment the baby bubbles came in, Gina was on my mind. And then it just turned into a festive event.

From yesterday I'm taking JoAnne*AlwaysUnlucky*, Elaine, Julie, Audrey and Ellie and Ed.  Just email Sara at saras@matildajaneclothing.com with your name, address and size.  She is out till Monday so fear not, she will be in touch.  And Mel Dog you're the second to last so you get the cute outfits pictured. I have a real good one up my sleeve but I really do swear I am gonna puke, my head is killing me. I cannot even think. So in the meantime, ummm..have a fun evening off cuz tomorrow is gonna be a brainbuster. A word to the wise would be to study up on Shannon's blog, MikaBeth's, Michelle's (and ignore that hideous pic of me, OMG, kill her), Toni's and Miss Gina's.  I've got a puzzle coming up that involves all 5.  My head hurts too bad to think tonite...I suck.

One for Me, One for you = TWO

Before you all go stressing all weekend, I should have noted Sara works on Mon, Tue and Wed. So rest assure she will get you taken care of Monday morning. With that said, we are moving as I type. We have one glitch, phone lines.  We got the wrong router so our internet will not be up till about 2 on Monday.  Good thing you have Trunk Keepers, eh? Whew... You will need to call them to place your order for we won't have access to the system till Mr. Verizon shows up.  That man is awesome, he has gone above and beyond for us this week. You may not know this, our new place has been empty for about 20 years, so he is starting from scratch.
  So the thing is..we get bored around here. Imagine that. My mom got bored and whipped me up a few cuties that I'm gonna give the 2nd to last commenter. Tricky huh? But look how cute.

In the meantime, I am here is my random picks...Marla, Ells, Jessica K, John (okay, so you're not that random) and Monika. And miss SK, you lucky no. 3.  It is so funny to listen to you all chit and chatter, so funny.

Ya, this was New Years Eve and I was at Bobbi's house. We stayed up all night calling my boyfriend. He was not home, I think he answered around 4. Ya, he was out with a girl. I'm not quite sure why I am so hunched over, but the tights and shorts were pretty cute.

Three for Me

Whoa, David makes things tough. He says he'll pick comment 500? Ya, I'm leaving that up to him. You do know we have to count those right?
Yup, so it has been an overwhelming week. My gosh. I could not even begin to tell you cuz I would sound like a lunatic. And I'm half ready to admit myself to the psychiatric ward. But that wouldn't do anyone much good come March 1. So I will rise above and conquer.  I've got the eye of the tiger. This is something Chris and I constantly remind each other of, "it's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight...." It's all good.

Talk about eyes, what about Madison's? Geesh.
Okay, let's get down to business cuz I have 2 boys attached to both legs telling me to hurry up.

Here's my picks from the other night: Angela G, cuz I hate when my friends always have the good stories and I suck. Dana, you need to know I changed my little sisters spelling to Dayna when she was too cool to be in 7th grade....you really spell it Dana.  It's not to late to change, go for it.  Oh, and Jill in the maternity ward, you are just too cute.

Wendy, I couldn't read your entire story but I saw all those "tic, tic, tic" and nearly lost my mind. Love it.  JB and her not so poor dog. Annie H cuz I so hate when my husband is always right. Not his time, huh? and Holly's Mama, here's to you.

The 4th and 5th ladies form last night were Julie and mom2lilrose . So if all you ladies could just email Sara at saras@matildajaneclothing.com with your name, address and size she'll get you taken care of. David will post the others later when he gets done counting...that was his idea and now it is his job.

I now have 1 screaming kids on my lap and Joe, who is giving me the guilty stare down. Tonite I am keeping it simple...I'm just going to pick randomly. I'll try to pick ones who haven't won, but I am completely confused by now with all the names.  And who ever is 3rd is 3rd, that is luck of the draw.

But hey, tonite is good, three for me equals not one but three treats for you. Well, for 3 of you. Hey, thanks so much for all the funny posts. I keep reading them as I upload pics to the site. It is so fun. Thanks. I'll most likely be uploading through tomorrow night.

Sorry for the boring post. I'm sure you can relate. It is hard to think. let alone type, with 2 now fighting kids.

Well, I have volunteered to do the blog one more night.  I actually enjoy it.  And, Denise and I have really enjoyed reading all of last night's comments.  Neither of us have picked our favorite yet.  It may be one more day before we can get through reading them all.  We want to be fair and not ignore any of them.

The photo above shows part of the process of packing the actual Trunks that our Trunk Keepers will be receiving in the next day or two.  Denise brought back all sorts of neat photos from Miami.

So, tonight we will award a prize to comment #5, comment #500, and one randomly selected comment.  The rules about posting twice in a row still apply.  YIKES!  Comment #5?  Should have been comment #4!  So, we'll let both #4 and #5 win tonight.

March 1st, the official launch date of the Matilda Jane Spring 2009 "Hot Line" Collection is only 5 days away.  Look for the website and/or blog to be updated with the Hot Line catalog soon.....as well as a few other surprise pieces.

Denise finally made it back from Miami, but I offered to do the blog one more night so that she could get some much needed rest.  She and Lynette were up til 3:00am last night packing the Trunk Keeper's Trunks and shipping them out.  Shipping out the Trunks is the last step in the process of launching a Matilda Jane season.

Well, Denise has totally left me with nothing.  She was supposed to be home tonight from Miami doing this blog herself, but was delayed until tomorrow night.  So, this post will have to do.

This picture is actually the first ever company picture of a girl wearing Matilda Jane.  I believe it is from 2003 (or so).  In my mind, it looks so different compared to what Matilda Jane looks like today.  Speaking of which....here are two shots of the upcoming Hot Line that I don't think Denise has posted yet:

Nine Lives

Okay, I admit I am pre-typing this. I want to make sure David inserts some good pics. For those of you who follow the blog, you know how he is. I have no clue where he comes up with those pics? No clue.

David's section:  OK, with Denise gone for a few days, I had to come up with something fun to entertain the kids.  We were at the grocery store getting groceries today and were standing in line waiting to check out.  I was looking at all of the interesting and unusual things that are typically in the check out aisle.  Then, I saw it.  The perfect thing to buy for a little bit of fun this weekend with Joe and Gabe.  I remember having some when I was a kid.  What was it?  That's for you to figure out.  It costs less than $2, but takes fun to a whole new level.  It makes a big mess, but is surprisingly easy to clean up.   Oh, one more thing.  It's not something that provides hours and hours of enjoyment.  If fact, for the price $2, you get about 2 minutes of entertainment from it.

When I saw those baby on Gina's blog I instantly picked up the phone, called Sarah and said "Who is that baby? And how can we use her?"  And in walks Gina, master of photography and head hunter of the cutest kids around.  And by the way, that sweet overall's way above are reversable... Oh yea.

Here's to Matt for being our math geek of night 10. Mitra, for some how knowing that the new Matilda Jane Clothing home is brick. Mitra, are you stalking me? I though I saw you in the parking lot the other day? Hmmm... and mom2LilRose for being the real no. 10.
