Okay, so David had to spend his entire Fathers Day working on the floor of the workshop, fixing shelves and just a bunch of pure fun at 435. There is so much going on trying to get ready for you folk. MY email is peaking at just over 300. With that said, if you need something crucial your best bet is to call the office. Plus, they always know more than I.
David says he worried that you guys will not like 435 cuz it's old. I think you will love it, I do. It is very raw but then it is a warehouse. He thinks you are expecting some grand showroom. And we are so not that. We are all about function.
Me, I think it is a fantastic place...and I know you will too....it is the company you keep that makes it grand.
Lastly and IMPORTANT, if you are attending please see this Download 435 Art Fair it has lots of information and a form you will need if you are shopping for a friend.
And oh, my is Becky beautiful or what? I love that photo...love it.

Wish I could be there and wish I had about a million bucks to just blow....oh my....my little girl would be stylin then...lol!! For everyone that is going, drive safe and don't bet the farm.... :)

My girls and I are soooo excited!!! It will be so much fun to meet everyone!!! It doesn't matter what the building looks like!!! I was taught it's on the inside that counts : ) unless you are planning on having it on the outside???? Then I will have to change my statement to it's on the outside that counts.....

Wow, sounds like soooo much fun. I have 3 girls and would be searching for matching ellies (my big girls aren't interested in knots), and knit ruffles. I'm sure I'd pick up something special for my little one, but she has plenty of MJ and she's easier to shop for! Oh well, I'll sit at home and dream. Can't wait to hear about it after! Have fun ladies!

thanks to david for his prep work!!!!!
horrible crash on father's day in FW- car vs greyhound bus- awful. pro-golfer's wife killed and the kids are in in critical condition at a hospital in fort wayne- Pray the kids pull through. Such an awful thing to happen- esp on father's day.

Many thanks to David for spending Father's Day working so hard on the 435 Art Fair. After the high emotions of the On-Line Art Fair I think we might have scared the poor man to death! LOL
Hope all of you who attend enjoy yourselves. :o)

Oh Denise, I am sure that 435 is perfect and there is not a thing you would change about it. I so wish I could go...but there is just no way, my husband would laugh at me for even asking.
Anyone willing to do a little shopping for a girl down in Texas?
I just need something to go with my lifesaver ruffles.

Becky is just beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I love the little girl enjoying the whale also.
I am glad that you have made some rules. I have three girls, only two of them really wear a lot of MJC. The older one is getting to the limit of MJC sizing. That being said, I am looking forward to coming, three days until I leave. YEA!!!

Gorgeous Becky!!!! So happy you all shared.
435 is wonderful, it will be loved by all.

oh I'm sure the space is wonderful! Wish I could be there.
There is this great town right outside of New York were the Victorian homes and shops were coming apart. Alot of artist starting moving in and using the old space for galleries, shops and their homes.
They had a gallery show in this long lost empty warehouse. (cool and creepy at the same time)
We actually met the best people, had wonderful food from the only 4 dining places they had.
I think the best treasures are found were you don't expect them!
I'm so glad I found your clothing for my little girl. Everytime I put something on her, I oooohhhh. :)

"..it is the company that you keep that makes it grand." ditto! However, the warehouse seems like a perfect place and from pics on your blog...it's just beautiful. Wish I could attend, will follow any rules! :p

I just have to say...Octomom is NOT going to like rule #7...in fact Kate Gosselin might not like it either. I wonder what would happen if either of them came? Could the rule be bent if the mom had a million babies? Me, I just have the 2 and only one of them gets to wear a LOT of Matilda Jane. The other one...not so much since he is just too small to wear his sister's dresses right now. I need to go pack. I wish I was coming to 435 but hopefully I will be in Plymouth. I'm not even going to GET excited until I am IN Michigan.

just walked in the door. exhausted. but glad to read the more 411 on the 435

I think old and nostalgic is perfect. There's something charming about old buildings, especially the old brick ones. SO wish I could come see the place.
And yes, Becky is exquisite, as I'm sure we all knew she would be.
Congrats, Becky!

i looked up 435 & saw an aerial shot of it. I think it is amazing ! A gorgeous old industrial building & you know what ?????????? I am really loving that you chose an old building. Matilda Jane is just perfect for an old building. I am originally from a town where all the old shoe buildings are empty & it is just sad. The windows are all broken & you can just hear the noise & bustle of the workers & see the steam from the smokestacks that used to be a part of their great history. It makes me sad more people do not utilize a part of their history. So good for you! I am really proud you did & not at all surprised you both have a wonderful appreciation for things of the past! Like Star Wars :)

I wish I could go to the 435 Art Fair but I am glad in a way that I am not going. I would probably want to spend too much money and wouldn't be able to afford it. I am satisfied that I found the Circus Knot in the correct size due to a sweet lady's kindness. On top of that I have a new friend too. What is better than that? I love the picture of the little girl! Have fun at the Art Fair ladies; I know you will!!!
