K all you gals, you must submit your request to enter by tonite at Midnight. Sara is overwhelmed with all the entries right now. My gosh. She keeps emailing me saying "How am I supposed to pick 25-30 out of hundreds." I tell her keep it simple and think of Sam. Cuz Sam has to cut the dresses and it is much easier to cut even numbers than it is 23 size 4's, 3 size 6's, 1 size 2 and 5 size 8's.... So in short the finalists will be random.
Oh, and if you are clueless to what I am talking about see post below!! Now I need to find some shoes besides flip flops or tennis shoes to wear. I'm not looking too good. October is a pretty hard shoe month for me. I look like a dork in flats and feel like I have to dress up in heels. And tennis shoes are way too casual sometimes and flip flops make me look like I need to go buy some shoes. Oh, the stress of it all. I think I have a headache.

Can't wait to see who the photo contest finalists are! Keeping me in stitches!
Hope you're feeling better!

I'm w/ya on the shoe thing... I want to wear my Birkenstocks all winter, but my husband says I look like a dork when I wear them w/wool sox! I hate shoe shopping almost as much as bra shopping!

Argh! I just discovered your blog and therefore missed your contest deadline! Love the clothes though :o)

Oh how I love shoes.....right now I'm wearing "KLOGS" clogs (similar to Dansko). They are so comfy and I'm on my feet all day teaching. I wear clogs year round (even when it snows).
I can't wait to see the photographer entries.

TOMS shoes are great, plus you help kids in need when you buy a pair! :)
Posted by: K Squared Mommy | October 05, 2009 at 10:22 PM
right with ya on the shoes...still wearing my flops, just don't know what to do yet...staring at my running shoes thinking if I put those on I will feel guilty for not actually doing anything cardio-related, so I ignore them. Plus I really just don't want to tie my shoes...I just don't. It is really cold taking the dog out in the morning when the grass is FREEZING in my flops. On the hunt as well...good luck to you!

Try a pair of Dansko clogs!
My black patent leather pair are 3 years old - once they come out of storage I wear them every day, unless I have to put a dress on.
3 years & they still look like new - super comfy for days you never get to sit down & take a breath :)

Yup. It's time to put the flips away, but if it's still warm, try a pair of open toed shoes. I love Crocs in dark colors - check out the new styles. I wear my Sassari black with jeans and to church with a dress. They're comfortable too. Clogs are perfect if there's a chill. Sanita / Dansko are comfy & stylish. Boots rock too, especially when it gets cold.

Well shucks. Looks like I missed the photographer contest. I was out working my son's football game and then a family/first birthday shoot. Totally missed the fun.
Maybe next time.

Seriously, what is wrong with flip flops :) I live in my Chaco flips! They will last forever and when they begin to fall apart, well you just send them in and they will fix them...ahhhh, that is a great flop!
Love all the photos, cant wait to see the winners!

Did you say shoes. I love shoes. I say shoe boot or wedge. I wore shoe boots all through college and there are some really cute AND comfy ones out there. Same goes for wedge shoes. They are my answer for the "to dressed up" look of a heel. There are some cute athleticy ones out there now too that are great for everyday.
Looking forward to seeing all the great pics!

Knee high boots & skinny jeans....perfect for fall. You could totally pull it off! Paired with a long cardigan it would be extra cute. :)

Denise - Merrell mary janes! They are my transition weather shoes, I just love them. They are cute and are dressier than tennis shoes.
The next pair of shoes I want are Ugg Coquettes, they are slippers and so warm and comfy. Totally casual and slouchy but who cares.

Shoes - Sanita all the way!(used to make all the Dansko shoes before they sent Dansko off on their own this year)
Cute, good on the feet and multi-season!

Good luck finding shoes! I pretty much live in chucks or flip flops... but I do have a pair of doc martens maryjanes that are super comfy too. Of course my husband thinks they look like little girl shoes, but who cares!!!

My fall shoes seem to be Converse for me and Dansko.
Isn't that exciting!? I remember when I used to wear high heels all the time. Now it's what can I chase my little one in without killing myself.
Oh Yeah! I'm also rocking those Earth shoes:)
